August is a special month in South Africa—it’s Women’s Month, with National Women’s Day on August 9th reminding us of the strength, resilience, and courage of the women who came before us, and those who continue to lead the way today.
As a female Broker Manager at RE/MAX Coastal, I’m proud to work in an industry where women are not only participating — but excelling, leading, and transforming the property landscape.
The Real Estate Industry: A Natural Fit for Women
Real estate is unique in that it offers women flexibility, unlimited growth potential, and the ability to build meaningful relationships—all while making a tangible difference in people’s lives. It’s no surprise that more and more women are choosing this path and finding immense success.
In our own Garden Route region, we are surrounded by strong, capable women working as agents, office administrators, financial coordinators, and broker owners. These are women juggling families, managing households, and still closing deals, hitting targets, and building their businesses. It’s incredibly inspiring to witness daily.
