On Saturday, 5 July 2025, the lush heart of Knysna came alive with pounding footsteps, cheerful cheers, and high-spirited encouragement as runners from all over South Africa took on the legendary Knysna Forest Marathon, 40th event!. And right there in the midst of the action—adding energy, colour, and pure coastal flair—was the RE/MAX Coastal team, proudly manning one of the most talked-about water tables of the day.

This year, our dedicated team showed up bright and early, not to race but to rally behind those who did. Positioned just outside Muse Fusion Restaurant, we turned our water table into a full-blown vibe station—because hydration deserves a little celebration!
More Than Water: We Served Motivation
The RE/MAX Coastal water table was anything but ordinary. Sure, we had the essentials—ice-cold water, coca-cola and energising snacks—but we added our signature twist:
- Sweets for that sugar kick
- Banging tunes and a smoke machine to hype up the route from DJ Lew Vermaak the man behind Twisted Knobs
- Beaming smiles and dancing for those who needed a morale boost
And the runners? They didn’t just stop to grab a drink—they stopped to laugh, dance, and smile with us. Especially those not chasing medals but rather soaking in the unique experience of running through our forested paradise. The joy was mutual, the energy contagious.
Branded Presence, Community Pride
With two large gazebos, telescopic banners, and a fully branded RE/MAX Coastal setup, we made sure our presence reflected not just our company, but our deep love for this community. It wasn’t just about visibility—it was about connection. Locals and visitors alike stopped by, waved, took photos, and reminded us why the Oyster Festival is so special.
